TECHNIQUES
Here you will find ressources and techniques to develop your yoga.
Parfois en français, parfois en anglais. Parfois en texte, en son ou en image.

All these techniques are from Katonah Yoga® a practice created by Nevine Michaan and that I mostly learned with Dages Juvelier Keates.

Whether you're new to the practice or already have some exprience under your belt, everyone is welcome.
In between session we'll be so lucky to eat delicious meals, rest in the comfort of the house, cool ourselves down in the pool or warm ourselves up in the sauna.

An intensive can be just that- intense- and by having it be residential we'll be able to build community, continue our discussions outside of the practice room and around a dinner table and rest a little more.

LISA FRAIPONT
Lisa is a Katonah Yoga teacher from Brussels, Belgium.
She’s already been teaching hatha yoga for 7 years and found real joy when she discovered Katonah Yoga through Dages Juvelier Keates in Paris in 2018.
She now teaches Katonah Yoga classes and trainings In Brussels and online.
She then immersed herself in the practice and the theory and learned with a lot of different teachers.
When she’s not teaching she loves to swim or to knit all kinds of hats, playing with technique, pattern & repetition ;)

KATONAH YOGA

The techniques underpinning the Katonah practices come from classical Hatha yoga, Taoist yoga and the panpyschic vision belonging to western esoteric philosophy.

The language of Katonah is metaphor and analogy; identifying the body as the abode, exploring the body as one’s instrument, the mind as the musician and the breath as the melody. The power of analogy allows the individual to use life experiences to define the personal and understand the collective.
