🌞 A KATONAH YOGA SUMMER RETREAT 🌞​

6 days of katonah yoga, rest, sun (hopefully), good food & community in Charente, France​
​
July ​29th - August 3rd

It's my third year going to this space and I love it.
Our hosts at Dojo du Plessis will cook great food for you, we'll practice yoga daily, meditate and infuse Katonah theory throughout the week.
​
When we'll not practice in the beautiful dojo you'll have time to rest by the pool, explore the garden, chill and read in the living room.
A japanese bath evening is included in the retreat and a sauna is at your disposal if that's your thing :)
​
All levels of yoga welcome, if you at least took a few classes or have any other physical practice in your repertoire.

WHERE : Le Dojo du Plessis is located in Charentes, in the middle of vineyards, woods and small valleys. Halfway between Cognac and Angoulême, 10 km from Jarnac.
You can take the train to Jarnac and we'll arrange a shuttle or come straight to the Dojo with your car.

WHEN: A 6 days, 5 nights practice week from Tuesday July 29th afternoon (check in at 5pm) to Sunday 3rd after lunch (check out at 2pm).
​
WHAT: a week of yoga. We'll start everyday with meditation or slow movement or breathwork.
Before lunch we'll have a dynamic practice and a soothing practice or a workshop session in the afternoon + some suprrises that will be announced soon
Example of schedule

8-8:45am : meditation, breathwork and / or slow movements

9am : breakfast

11am -12:30: yoga - dynamic practice

1pm: lunch
​
free time in the afternoon - to rest by the pool or explore the surroundings
​
5-7pm: yoga - evening wind down, workshops on adjustements, katonah yoga theory...
​
8pm: dinner
​
9:30pm: restorative yoga or free time to sleep, play or chat

your yoga props : please bring your mat, a blanket and two blocks with you, if you're in Brussels, Lisa can lend you props

​Alcohol: if you want to drink some wine, you can buy very good regional wine at the house

750€ in a shared room with shared bathroom : one big dorm divided in 4 private rooms with 2 single beds with two shared bathrooms

920€ in private room with a shared bathroom - can be booked for a couple for 800€ per person

1000€ in a private room with a private bathroom - can be booked for a couple for 850€ per person - ONE LEFT

Cancellation policy:

Upon registration we ask you for a downpayment of 200€, non refundable.
The balance is due for June 15th - we offer payment plans if you want to split the payment in 2 or 3 instalments
If you cancel after June 15th we cannot refund you
LISA FRAIPONT
Lisa is a Katonah Yoga teacher from Brussels, Belgium.
She’s already been teaching hatha yoga for 7 years and found real joy when she discovered Katonah Yoga through Dages Juvelier Keates in Paris in 2018.
She now teaches Katonah Yoga classes and trainings In Brussels and online.
She then immersed herself in the practice and the theory and learned with a lot of different teachers.
When she’s not teaching she loves to swim or to knit all kinds of hats, playing with technique, pattern & repetition ;)
